The first pen recreated in-house, the Bolt Action Pen v.02 offers all as did its predecessor — precision machined from solid bar stock — but with noticeably smoother action. In addition to design upgrades such as chamfered edges around the bolt track, v.02 allows customization in gold or silver in an updated end cap embedding the signature INVENTERY emblem as well as in the bolt hardware. Overall, v.02 offers nuanced design additions but, most noticeably, greater precision. If you own the first version, you’ll feel the immediate difference with this one.
